We are currently seeking a journalist for our WIN News service.
Reporting to the State News Director, you will be responsible for researching, compiling and producing high quality news stories for our weekday news bulletins. You'll liaise with editors and camera operators to ensure our bulletins meet deadline and are of the highest standards.
Skills/Qualifications University qualification majoring in journalism or currently completingExcellent oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated understanding of how to compile a ratings winning bulletinKnowledge of local, national and international news stories affecting the community.Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of media lawAccuracy and excellent attention to detailAbility to meet deadlines through effective time managementCapacity to operate in a team environment, contributing positively to working relationshipsAbility to identify story opportunities, and operate with initiative and flexibilityPositive work ethic, and the ability and willingness to learn new systems and processesDemonstrated problem-solving skillsMust hold the right to work in AustraliaIf you are passionate about your work and want to be a member of an outstanding new team, please apply.
