About the opportunity
Contribute to UWA's commitment to a safe and healthy campus by developing accurate and compliant Safety Data Sheets for hazardous substances and dangerous goods. Work flexibly within the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Directorate, enhancing your expertise in chemical safety and compliance. Gain hands-on experience with the ChemAlert system, with UWA-provided access and training, while working independently two days per week. About you
A tertiary qualification in Chemistry or a related field, with solid knowledge of hazardous substances and dangerous goods. Demonstrated ability to create accurate, compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in line with regulatory standards. Familiarity with the ChemAlert system or similar safety databases (desirable). Ability to manage tasks independently and work flexibly within a part-time, on-campus role. Closing date: 11:55 PM AWST on Thursday, 14 November 2024.
