We are looking for a skilled and passionate Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team at Moffat Beach. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to our clients while working in a supportive and professional environment. You will be responsible for delivering remedial massage treatments, handling payments, taking bookings and maintaining a clean and welcoming therapy room.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remedial Massage Therapy: Provide therapeutic treatments tailored to the needs of clients using remedial techniques.
- Payments: Process payments through EFTPOS and HICAPS systems for direct billing.
- Client Bookings: Answer phone calls, take bookings and manage appointment schedules.
- Room Maintenance: Prepare and tidy massage rooms between clients to ensure a clean and relaxing environment.
- Customer Service: Build rapport with clients, ensure their comfort and address any concerns or preferences during treatments.
Ongoing Training:
Some training will be provided if you are unfamiliar with certain massage techniques, ensuring continuous development and skill enhancement.
Pay:
The role will be paid an hourly rate for massages performed.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills (desirable but not essential):
- Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in remedial massage therapy (advantageous but not required).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of various massage techniques (training available for unfamiliar techniques).
