About the Role: As a Casual General Services Officer, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our healthcare environment by performing a range of essential duties.
From maintaining cleanliness to assisting with food preparation, your work will support a high standard of care for our patients and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
Food Handling and Preparation: Assisting in meal preparation and plating under the guidance of a supervisor.Cleaning and Hygiene: Ensuring high standards of cleanliness in patient rooms, public areas, kitchen spaces, and all other designated areas.Supply Management: Restocking essential supplies such as hand towels, soap, and other items to keep facilities well-prepared and functional.Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining records of cleaning activities and promptly reporting any unsafe conditions or damaged equipment.Infection Control: Following infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.Minimum Requirements: Proven experience in cleaning services.Strong work ethic, ensuring all areas are cleaned efficiently and on time.Commitment to infection control and hygiene principles.Dedication to exceptional customer service and quality improvement.Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends, as required.Previous experience in a hospital or hotel setting.Certificate III in Hospitality Services.Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work with minimal supervision.Aware of the HACCP system.What We Offer:
