We are looking for a motivated Casual Front Office Receptionist to join our team at our soon-to-be-relaunched boutique hotel property located at 62 Byng Street, Orange.
This is your chance to be part of the foundation team as the hotel reopens on Monday 2 December, 2024.
Role OverviewThe Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process as well as responding to guest requests in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner.
The Front Office Receptionist is also an ambassador for the region we operate within, providing town and tourism experiential highlights information for guests.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperationalGreet guests upon arrival, check them in and out, and provide information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions.Handle phone and online reservations, ensuring accurate and timely booking of rooms.Maintain guest records, process payments, and manage the front desk's daily operations.Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready for guests and any issues are resolved quickly.Monitor guest access and maintain the security of the front desk area.GuestsIn collaboration with the General Manager and Team Members, implement strategies to enhance guest service standards which meet/exceed the expectations of guests.Interact with guests to gather feedback and ensure their stay experience exceeds expectations.Other Key Skills & AttributesRepresent the company in a positive manner ensuring attitude and communication towards all key stakeholders is reflective of the Travellers Group Core Values – Guest Obsessed, Empowering Our People, Innovation, Pride, Data-Driven Decisions, Hungry and Humble, Authenticity and Integrity.Embrace the knowledge-share culture of the team ensuring all methods, reports, and data accessed and generated are stored correctly and are readily available for shared use within the property.Ensure that all Occupational Health and Safety requirements for the company are met within the property; report any workplace hazards and support the company in its endeavour to provide a safe workplace.Complete to the best of your ability any additional tasks within reason as provided by your immediate manager or delegate.Participate/engage in industry events and maintain relevant market knowledge. #J-18808-Ljbffr
