Casual Food, Bar And Gaming Attendant

The Elwick hotel is looking for its next Food, Bar, and Gaming attendant to join our team. We are looking for a positive and customer focused individual who is fully licenced and can hit the ground running. The general duties performed in this role will include attending to enquiries from our gaming patrons, preparing and dispensing beverages and providing fantastic customer service to all our hotel guests. Some of the position's duties include (but are not limited to): •              Monitoring gaming operations within the venue •              Maintaining compliance and responsible gaming practices •              Day to day operations of a busy gaming room •              Demonstrated cash handling proficiency •            A comprehensive knowledge of all gaming machine regulations, compliance, and procedures •              A comprehensive understanding of food & beverage products and services •              A professional & mature "can do" attitude with the ability to work unsupervised •              An ability to provide fantastic customer service to all our hotel patrons The following qualifications are a must/ability to obtain: •              Current Tasmanian Gaming Employee Licence •              Current Responsible Service of Gaming Certificate (RSG) •              Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA) •              TAB experience would be an advantage •              Keno Writer & Gaming Machine Attendant or Senior Keno Writer and Gaming Machine Supervisor Certificates Please note the Elwick's operating hours are 8:00am-4:00am and suitable candidates will be able have availability and flexibility to work a variety of night and weekend shifts which may include public holidays.
