We are committed to implementing child safe practices to create an environment where children feel safe and included.We screen candidates to ensure their suitability to work with children, which includes conducting national police checks, working with children checks, and thorough reference checks.The Community Hubs and Parramatta Town Hall provide exciting casual opportunities for you to join the City of Parramatta in setting a new benchmark for customer service delivery excellence for our community while working as part of a dynamic team.The Community Hubs are 7-day operations offering a wide range of unique experiences to people who live, work, study, visit, and play in our area.About the RoleThe Facility Support Officer role will deliver exceptional customer experience and contribute to the achievement of Council's strategic objectives and vision for the City of Parramatta as Sydney's Global City.You may work in various Community Hub locations and play a key role in customer service with the on-ground delivery of venue hire, programs, and events within the facilities.Key Responsibilities:Provide high quality customer service, answer queries, and assist customers in the use of Council community facilities.Ensure facilities are clean, tidy, and presentable - setting them up and packing them down in alignment with the needs of the customer.Arrange furniture, equipment, and assist customers with logistics such as access to the venue, loading dock or other.Check daily booking registers and follow tasks to deliver exceptional customer service.About YouIf you enjoy a role that has you on your feet rather than behind a desk, this may be the role for you!
