Casual Facilities Team Leader - National Convention Centre Hotel Brand: Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts

Our clients' seamless experiences begin with you. That's why we're searching for a dedicated Casual Facilities Team Leader to ensure the efficient and effective management of our operations. Your role will encompass overseeing inspections, pursuing cost-saving measures, and supporting our kitchen and events services teams. You will be crucial in promoting safety, enhancing guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
Working in line with business needs Assisting in monthly inspections Actively pursuing cost-saving measures People: Assisting chefs with food preparation and kitchen duties Helping with the receiving and storage of goods Demonstrating the proper use of chemicals and assisting other departments with their chemical needs Guest Experience: Ensuring that all crockery and cutlery are maintained and cleaned in accordance with HACCP guidelines Providing assistance to customers when necessary Responsible Business: Cooperating and partnering with management in implementing workplace health, safety, and wellbeing-related initiatives Participating in investigations of injuries and illnesses arising from workplace activities and recommending corrective actions to prevent or minimize recurrence Facilitating the reporting of workplace hazards to those who can implement corrective actions Wearing and maintaining Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required Using safety and emergency equipment, plant materials, tools, and substances provided in the workplace as directed Reporting workplace hazards to the supervisor Reporting injuries or illnesses arising from workplace activities Skills and Qualifications: Experience in a similar role is a plus Strong understanding of HACCP guidelines Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of PPE Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with various departments You'll be rewarded for your hard work with a suite of benefits that supports you and your family's wellbeing, including:
