That's why we're searching for a dedicated Casual Facilities Team Leader to ensure the efficient and effective management of our operations. Your role will encompass overseeing inspections, pursuing cost-saving measures, and supporting our kitchen and events services teams. You will be crucial in promoting safety, enhancing guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of hygiene.Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:Working in line with business needsAssisting in monthly inspectionsActively pursuing cost-saving measuresPeople:Assisting chefs with food preparation and kitchen dutiesHelping with the receiving and storage of goodsDemonstrating the proper use of chemicals and assisting other departments with their chemical needsGuest Experience:Ensuring that all crockery and cutlery are maintained and cleaned in accordance with HACCP guidelinesProviding assistance to customers when necessaryResponsible Business:Cooperating and partnering with management in implementing workplace health, safety, and wellbeing-related initiativesParticipating in investigations of injuries and illnesses arising from workplace activities and recommending corrective actions to prevent or minimize recurrenceFacilitating the reporting of workplace hazards to those who can implement corrective actionsWearing and maintaining Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as requiredUsing safety and emergency equipment, plant materials, tools, and substances provided in the workplace as directedReporting workplace hazards to the supervisorReporting injuries or illnesses arising from workplace activitiesSkills and Qualifications:Experience in a similar role is a plusStrong understanding of HACCP guidelinesKnowledge of safety procedures and proper use of PPEAbility to work effectively in a team and communicate with various departmentsYou'll be rewarded for your hard work with a suite of benefits that supports you and your family's wellbeing, including:Hotel perks like accommodation and Food & Beverage discountsEnhanced parental leaveProactive health days and flexible work optionsYour career journey will be supported through our lifelong development programIHG Career Milestone celebrationsTransfer of entitlements as you move and grow with IHGAccess to our discount retail platform that makes your pay go even furtherOur mission is to welcome everyone and create inclusive teams where we celebrate differences and encourage colleagues to bring their whole selves to work.
