Casual Event Staff

Puppy Yoga Sydney is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our event team. As an Event Staff member, you will ensure the well-being of puppies and the smooth operation of Puppy Yoga sessions. This role involves handling puppies, setting up event spaces, engaging with participants, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event.
Key Responsibilities: Puppy Care: Prioritise the safety and well-being of puppies, including handling any accidents or health concerns promptly. Event Setup: Prepare the space by setting up mats, cleaning the area, adjusting room temperature, and organising puppy supplies. Participant Engagement: Assist attendees with check-in procedures, engage participants, take photos for social media, and ensure proper handling of puppies. Cleaning & Restocking: Maintain cleanliness during the event, restock supplies such as puppy pads, cleaning materials, and water bowls, and manage waste disposal. Closing Procedures: Clean and tidy up after each session, ensure proper storage of equipment, and perform laundry tasks as needed. Communication: Notify the event manager of any concerns, return keys after events, and follow check-in protocols for late attendees.Qualifications: Experience with handling animals, particularly puppies, is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.Job Type: Casual
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 14 per week
