Casual Disability Support Workers - NollamaraExperienced Disability Support Workers - MALE ONLY Several positions are available Experience with High Care and Behaviors of Concern will be an advantage. Must be available for Sleepover Shifts About Cocoon SDA Care Cocoon SDA Care provides support staff to NDIS-registered providers. Our houses offer our participants a place they can call home, whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit their individual needs. Our highly skilled and passionate team is dedicated to supporting our Participants to live life to the full.
About the role We are looking for support workers who have industry experience and the following attributes:
Experience in managing participants who require support with complex care and high physical needs.Clear and effective communication skills.A person-centred approach to care.Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster and the availability to work overnight shifts or attend training or meetings as required.Experience with Manual Handling.Ability to follow through Individual Support Plans and knowledge of the BSP.If you have a passion for supporting individuals to realise their full potential, make choices, and be in control of the decisions that affect their lives, this could be the opportunity for you.
