Have you had previous experience as a Chef de Partie working in a fast-paced kitchen in a large venue? Or are you a keen cook/chef looking to take the next step in your career? Redcape Hotel Group is looking for a Casual Chef de Partie to join the Kitchen Team at The Figtree Hotel.

Collaborative endeavours with the Venue's head chef as well as the potential for collaboration with Group Executive Head Chef and General Manager Food would expand their thinking, foster healthy relationships with well renown industry professionals, and enable opportunities for self-development and career progression.

Key qualifications and attributes: Demonstrated leadership and previous experience. Ability to solve problems and seek guidance where necessary. Clear communication skills with a high level of organisation. Uncompromising approach to product & service delivery – a great hands-on service ethic. Exceptional capabilities in quality and consistency of product delivery. Experience in operating multiple obligations for several service points. Supporting Head Chef with day-to-day operations of the Kitchen and assist in their colleagues absence(s). Capable of working cohesively and autonomously within a team.  Required: Availability to suit rotating shift work rosters, that can span weekdays, weekends and public holidays. Preferred: Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast paced kitchen. Preferred: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or Kitchen Management.
