Salt Recovery is a luxury rehabilitation center that believes in providing a holistic approach to our guests' recovery journey. We accommodate a maximum of five guests at a time, ensuring personalised care and attention to every individual. As part of our commitment to comprehensive recovery, we prioritise nourishing meals and nutritionally dense cuisine to support our guests' well-being.
Hours: Saturday 2pm - 6pm & Sunday 10am - 6pm
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Casual Chef with a strong emphasis on customer service to join our team. In this role, you will not only be responsible for creating nutritionally dense meals but also for interacting with our guests, attending to their nutritional needs, and ensuring they leave our facility feeling nourished and cared for.
Responsibilities: 
- Prepare nutritionally dense and gourmet meals for our guests with dietary restrictions.
- Interact with guests, taking their preferences and dietary requirements into consideration.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Assist in meal planning and menu development.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth meal service.
- Show flexibility to fill in for our Head Chef during holidays or as needed.
- Strive for culinary excellence in all aspects of food preparation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a high-end or luxury setting.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on nutritionally dense meals.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
- Flexibility to work on Saturdays (2pm-6pm) and Sundays (10am-6pm).
- Ability to adapt to varying schedules based on guest needs.
- Room to grow into a full-time role as the facility expands.
