About the role: Depending on the service area, the role may involve a combination of short and long shifts, including sleepovers and overnight shifts. Key responsibilities include: A passion for helping and caring for others.Providing domestic assistance services encompassing general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, handling laundry, and changing bed linens. Our goal is to provide a minimum of three to four services each day, as our clients rely on clean and organized homes to maintain their independence.Cooking and assisting with meal preparationAssistance with medication routines and medical appointmentsProvide personal care such as showering and dressingProvide transportation to clients to social activities and shoppingCreate meaningful experiences to enrich their lives24-hour in-home Care Requirements for the role: NDIS Worker Screening CheckBlue Card (Working with Children)First Aid and CPR CertificateOpen Queensland Driver's License and Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance.Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalentNDIS certificatesDriver Authority Card (eligibility to apply preferred)Medical Health AssessmentAFP Police CheckWe will assist you in establishing your eligibility and acquiring the above necessary qualifications and certifications.
