About the role:
We are currently seeking a passionate Casual Camera Operator/Editor to join our Orange team. Reporting to the State News Director, you will be responsible for shooting and editing high quality stories for news and updates. Working in a regional newsroom is an opportunity like no other - it is truly a rewarding experience where you will get to shoot all rounds of news. In areas such as the environment, sport, politics, you name it - you have the control to make a difference within the community.
About you:
To be the successful candidate, you will have:
Demonstrated skills with both camera operation and editing Experience shooting interviews, sport and community activities A high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Ability to operate productively in a team environment, contributing positively to our operation and to working relationships Ability to contribute ideas, and to demonstrate initiative and flexibility Positive work ethic, with ability and willingness to learn new systems High level of creativity with the flair to 'see' a news story What we can offer you:
