We are looking for a casual bus driver to support the on-island bus service which operates Monday to Friday. It is a pre-requisite for this role that you live on the island or have the ability to relocate to the island with own amodation. Additional hours of work will be available as a general hand if desired and willing to learn. The primary function of the bus driver is to effectively and safely operate allpany passenger vehicles and to provide professional customer service to the passengers on board. Duties will include, but are not limited to: The re-fuelling of buses in a safe manner Carry out daily vehicle inspections Sell bus tickets and handle cash Cleaning duties Assist passengers with queries and boarding where required Prior passenger transport experience is highly valued but not essential to the role. About You We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, the ability to able to engage with passengers from a variety of backgrounds and have the flexiblity and reliability to work at short notice. These attributes will beplemented by experience and skills in the following areas: Northern Territory driver's license with H endorsement (involving police check and medical) Senior First Aid and Resuscitation Qualification Ochre card Own transport Ability to drive withinpany and Traffic Authority Regulations.
