About the Role We are seeking an Education Services Advisor to join our academic team on a casual agreement for 6 - 8 weeks.
This role will be based at our Sydney campus and will support the academic delivery team in ensuring high-quality administrative functions for student services and academic operations.
As the first point of contact for day-to-day academic administration, you will be responsible for managing student queries, grade management, timetabling, and supporting academic staff in delivering a seamless learning experience.
Additionally, you will contribute to policy adherence, course administration, and the coordination of key academic processes during this period.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for academic-related queries and operational matters from students and academic staff.Provide guidance on institute policies, education procedures, teaching and learning systems, and academic support services.Support the Academic Course Coordinator in managing student complaints, grievances, academic integrity, and RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) processes.Organise payments for casual academic staff.Conduct Canvas reviews to ensure learning materials are accurate and accessible before each trimester.Support the adherence to assessment policies, including extensions, special considerations, and grade release.Compile accurate timetables across all delivery modes and assist with teaching allocations.Maintain records of subject outlines, internal moderation, grades, academic registers, and improvement registers.Assist in the preparation of peer reviews and staff evaluation surveys.Manage other administrative tasks as directed by the Head of School.Education, Experience, and Skills: Tertiary qualification in any discipline.Minimum of 2 years of experience in an academic services role within a higher education environment (Requirement).Prior experience in customer service or student engagement is highly regarded.Ability to multi-task, prioritise effectively, and complete tasks with a high level of accuracy.Demonstrated commitment to quality assurance and a keen eye for detail.IT literate, particularly with Microsoft Office and learning management systems (LMS).Why Join Us?
