We work proactively with industry partners and professional bodies leading to more employable and innovative graduates.Casual Register OpportunitiesWe recognise the key to our success is exceptional people and we're seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals who would be available to undertake casual teaching opportunities in our Health Sciences and Allied Health Disciplines.There are opportunities in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and could be located at Flinders University's Bedford Park or Regional campuses (Riverland, Pt Pirie, Mt Gambier) or online from any location.ResponsibilitiesTeaching in tutorial, laboratory or online classesMarking student assessmentsAttending topic team meetingsMeeting with studentsCompleting administrative and associated workSelection CriteriaCurrently registered or eligible for registration as an Allied Health practitioner with AHPRA, where relevant.Current or eligible to register for a Working with Children Check from the Department of Human Services – SA Government.A passion for teaching and learning and contributing to the learning experiences of the next generation of graduates in your field.Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills.Evidence of knowledge and/or experience in relation to contemporary trends in health sciences and allied health.Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in using technology such as Microsoft Office programs and interactive online technology.Evidence of high-quality teaching experience at a tertiary level (desirable).Holding a postgraduate qualification in health or health-related field (desirable).How to apply & other informationClick on Apply and submit a completed CV / Résumé and Cover Letter of no more than two pages that also addresses the selection criteria; dot point statements can be used.

It is an inherent requirement of the position that the successful candidate maintains a current Working With Children Check which is satisfactory to the University.A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.All information submitted to the register is stored securely within our database, accessible only to the Recruitment team and senior staff members of the teaching sections of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
The register is used to identify potential casual academic staff.
