Do you have experience with cash handling and enjoy engaging with customers? We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as casual Cage Cashier, where you'll play an integral role in delivering outstanding service in both our Casino and VIP Lounge environments.
The Role As a Cashier, you'll undergo comprehensive training and acquire necessary licensing qualifications for cage operations, adhering to regulatory standards. Your responsibilities will include facilitating Vantage Rewards membership transactions and conducting cash and chip exchanges for our valued guests.
About You To be successful in this role you will:
Be at least 18 years of age and eligible to obtain a Queensland Casino Employee License.Possess or have the ability to obtain the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) certificates.Be willing to participate in training to learn the cashier functions within the casino operations, promotions, and events, with a focus on supporting safer gambling practices.Demonstrate flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, nights, and public holidays.Be able to adapt and prioritise activities within a fast-paced environment and have strong attention to detail.Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.Candidates who can also demonstrate previous banking or cash handling experience, with analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve variances in transactions will be highly regarded.About The Ville The Ville is tropical North Queensland's premier destination for dining, events and entertainment; located in gorgeous Townsville boasting 300 days of sunshine every year.
