We commit to working respectfully to honour First Nations continuing cultural and spiritual connections to lands, sea and waters and pay our respect to elders past and present.Program OverviewJoin our dedicated Immediate Housing Response (IHR) team, this service provides support to access and sustain short term accommodation for people experiencing homelessness, or at imminent risk of homelessness with no other alternative accommodation or housing options. Via a case management framework, the Immediate Housing Response team provides proactive support services to assist people to stabilise their situation and aims to facilitate the transition to safe and secure housing. This position oversees two services, our IHRF service provides support to families and the IHRSC service provides support to both singles and couples.To Be Successful You Will NeedProven case management experience using a holistic and client-centered approach to managing your case load.Extensive experience working in government funded programs with strict budgetary and contractual requirements of service.Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, community organisations, and other service providers to provide efficient and effective services to clients.Knowledge of organisational programs, policies and operations.Industry relevant qualifications or relevant industry experience.Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and communities will be highly regarded.Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds will be highly regarded.Ability to work within a dynamic fast-paced environment.ComplianceA current QLD Drivers Licence 'Class C' or interstate equivalent.Blue Card (Working with children card).A current national police check (within the last 3 months).Current First Aid & CPR certificate.What We Can Offer YouSalary packaging available.Access to a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Access to a large variety of discounts through our HRIS benefits.Diversity and inclusivity are important to Anglicare NQ and we are committed to ensuring our workplace and services reflect this.
