* Ongoing opportunity * Take pride in a meaningful job with a real sense of purpose * Salary range $74,581 - $82,571 plus superannuation About us Community Correctional Services (CCS) contributes to the safety of the community by applying practices that reduce reoffending and?connecting offenders to programs,?services?and community.
CCS provides management of offenders on court orders, serious sex offenders on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.
About the role Based in Ballarat, the Case Officer will manage low risk offenders on court orders, through directing and monitoring compliance with court order obligations.
Additionally, you will apply order administration activities to offenders on reparation orders and, where required, offenders at a low risk of reoffending.
This includes: * Referring offenders to relevant services * Monitor compliance against order requirements * Implement appropriate responses to non-compliance * Escalate matters as required to senior staff in a timely manner To be successful in this role you will have: * A passion for service excellence with a focus on achieving service targets whilst maintaining service quality * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with assertiveness and confidence in dealing with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours * Strong time-management and organisational skills * Well-developed interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Demonstrated experience or an awareness of key case management components: assessment, planning, service coordination and brokerage and interventions would be highly regarded.
