Experience the difference. Make change together. About The Position Location: Kadina Status: Part Time FTE 0.8 Closing Date for Applications: 1st December 2024 The Yorke and Mid North Domestic Violence Service provides support to people who are at risk of, or are experiencing domestic violence.
As the Case Manager, you will work independently and as part of a team to develop and maintain services that support those impacted by domestic violence. Case Managers provide tailored support to enhance the safety of clients through the provision of professional, high quality case management, advocacy and counselling.
You will: Have strong relationship building and communication skills.Show proficient time management and organisation skills.Have a knowledge of key barriers facing people with complex needs.It is essential for you to have: Current Australian Drivers Licence.Certificate IV (or above) in a Human Services related field e.g. Community Services, Case Management, Disability, Mental Health, Youth Work, etc.Relevant experience, in a paid or voluntary capacity.A tertiary qualification in a Human Services related field e.g. Social Work will be highly regarded.
You may also need to be available for some out of hours work and travel between Uniting Country SA sites or interstate as required.
