Permanent, full-time role Hybrid working Location: Parramatta The opportunity At QBE, we are always looking for empathetic and eager to learn Insurance Claims Professionals for our claims team to support people to get their lives back on track after an injury and make a positive impact in assisting people when they need it the most.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Case Manager to join our Major Injuries CTP team. Your new role Manage a portfolio of major injury claims that arise from motor vehicle accidents resulting in loss of life or major injuries.
Comply with highly regulated scheme completing various tasks in a timely manner to assist our vulnerable customers get their lives back together after a traumatic event.
Frequently liaise with relevant parties, requesting information to support treatment/medical requests, requesting information to support liability, make decisions on claims within delegated authorities, payments in a timely manner, etc.
Continue to learn and grow your knowledge through an ever-changing variety of situations and challenges.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by guiding and supporting them through their recovery.
Work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Manage end-to-end claims with the help of your leaders.
About you Must have insurance claims/allied health experience.
Be customer focused and genuinely care about people.
Be resilient and not easily overwhelmed (sometimes it can be tough assisting people through a vulnerable time in their life).
The confidence to make decisions and be empowered.
Be able to actively listen to people and guide them through the claims process in a natural and empathetic manner on the phone.
Strong computer skills and the ability to pick up new computer systems.
