Our mission is to deliver person-centered, trauma-informed, and holistic services in a fast-paced service delivery environment to ensure the best outcomes for everyone referred to us for assistance.
About the roleWe are seeking a skilled, compassionate and proactive Case Manager to deliver screening, assessment, and short-term case management interventions as part of The Salvation Army's Additional Referral Pathway (ARP) Program to support the journey to recovery for victim-survivors experiencing or escaping modern slavery.
Reporting to the Team Leader, this is a fixed term (18 months), part-time (3 days a week) position based in Perth, Western Australia.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award Level 5.
You will successfullyWork collaboratively to offer high-quality support to adults, young people, and children who may be at risk or have experienced trafficking or modern slavery.Conduct assessments, provide short-term case management, and facilitate referrals, all with a focus on maintaining client safety and accessing appropriate support pathways.You will haveA degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development or related field OR demonstrated high level of sector knowledge and skills attained through previous appointments, service and study/development.A current Western Australia Employee Working with Children Card.A valid WA Driver Licence.A sound knowledge of modern slavery and trafficking offences in Australia.Experience working with victim-survivors of modern slavery, Domestic and Family violence and people on Temporary Visa as well as conducting safety planning and risk assessments.The ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.What we offerAs a registered NFP we offer our eligible employees real and meaningful benefits such as:
