We provide local housing, services and support programs that enable women, their families and other priority groups to find stability and feel safe and secure, so they can build the future they want.ABOUT THIS ROLEYWCA Australia is currently seeking a passionate Case Manager to join our Housing Support team in our Darwin location.
This role is offered on a full-time ongoing basis.The role is responsible for the provision of strength-based case management, tenancy, and support across a range of housing programs designed to increase independence for young people and older women.
The role will facilitate safety, well-being and housing independence and also link clients into the private rental market and mainstream support services.ABOUT YOUThe ideal applicant will have:Tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Social Work or relevant areaDemonstrated experience in a similar case management roleComprehensive knowledge of the homelessness and housing sectorAbility to build strong relationships at all levels based on trust and collaborationConcise and tailored communication and strong interpersonal skillsThis position will require the applicant to satisfactorily meet our pre-employment requirements.
This includes:Completion of a national criminal history checkA valid relevant state-based working with children permit.Don't meet every single requirement?
