Uniting Country SA - Caring for Country People Status: Contract - Maternity Leave - Full Time to 30th June 2025 Closing Date for Applications: 5th January 2025 Uniting Country SA's Mental Health suite of services are funded to deliver long or short-term mental health psychosocial or case managed support, in addition to education and community involvement.
Participants are supported to identify their own individual recovery needs, build personal capacity, achieve recovery goals and experience improved social connections and wellbeing. Service delivery includes individual support as well as socially-based capacity building group activities.
Desired Skills and ExperienceYou will: Access appropriate support services at the right time, when participants want it.Support with the NDIS process.Have the ability to manage your own schedule.Support participant's community involvement and increase their personal capacity, confidence and self-reliance.Have a high level of communication, both written and verbal.It is essential for you to have: Current Australian Drivers Licence.Knowledge of the Mid North communities and mental health supports and referral pathways.Relevant experience, in a paid or voluntary capacity.A qualification in a Human Services related discipline e.g. Cert IV Community Services or Mental Health.Applicants currently studying towards a Certificate IV or Tertiary degree will be considered as working towards the essential Certificate IV requirement.
You may also need to be available for some out of hours work and travel between Uniting Country SA sites or interstate as required.
