Uniting Country SA - Caring for Country People Closing Date for Applications: 22nd January 2025 The Coober Pedy Homelessness and Domestic and Aboriginal Family Violence Service provides support to people who are at risk of, or are experiencing, homelessness, domestic or Aboriginal family violence.
Working independently and as part of a team, you will provide tailored support to clients through the provision of professional high-quality case management, advocacy and counselling.

Desired Skills and ExperienceYou will: Have good communication skills.Be flexible and a team player.Have experience or be willing to learn case management.Have empathy for people experiencing homelessness or domestic or family violence.Participate on a 24/7 after-hours roster.It is essential for you to have: Current Australian Drivers Licence.A willingness to participate in the after-hours on-call 24-hour duty roster.Relevant experience in Homelessness, Domestic/Family Violence or similar positions, in a paid or voluntary capacity.Certificate IV (or above) in a Human Services related field (e.g., Community Services, Case Management, Disability, Mental Health, Youth Work, etc).A tertiary qualification in a Human Services related discipline (e.g., Social Work) will be highly regarded.
You may also need to be available for some out-of-hours work and travel between Uniting Country SA sites or interstate as required.
