As a Case Manager, you will play an integral part of our Workers Compensation Claims business by taking pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint.You are self-motivated, with a keen attention to detail, capable of maintaining high standards during times of change and resilient when facing challenges. This will provide you with all the skills and knowledge needed in case management.Your new role:Manage Workers Compensation claims, ensuring prompt and efficient coordination between key stakeholders in this short tail high volume claims portfolio.Encourage and monitor client compliance with approved treatment and plans.Provide information and feedback on claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable execution of appropriate actions.Negotiate cost-effective treatment and rehabilitation while not compromising on care quality.Liaise with employers and healthcare providers to meet any necessary job modifications and ensure all parties are updated on medical details and progress.Coordinate and ensure a minimum of 5 calls per day.Your story so far:To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:Experience within the customer service, allied health, corporate call centre or legal industries will be highly regarded.Passionate, client-focused, and able to build meaningful relationships yet be comfortable taking difficult conversations, especially when these decisions could impact clients' lifestyles.Initiative, resilience and thrive in a fast-paced changing environment.Robust stakeholder management and customer service skills.A willingness to learn new concepts and grasp information.Excellent organisational skills with an emphasis on ensuring a strong client focus throughout.Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.About QBEWe can never really predict what's around the corner, but at QBE we're asking the right questions to enable a more resilient future - helping those around us build strength and embrace change to their advantage.
