The priority of our Service is for the safety of the people who have been subjected to domestic or family violence, recognising that the majority are women and children.WHAT WE OFFERSalary Range: SCHADS L7P1 – L7P3 commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience.A dynamic workplace that values innovation and quality practice.Opportunity to be part of an organisation helping to create strong, safe, and inclusive communities.A commitment to staff well-being through free, confidential support via Employee Assistance Programs and external supervision.Professional development through training and development courses.5 weeks annual leave.Salary sacrificing options.DUTIESThe Case Management and Outreach Senior Practitioner will:Provide advice, leadership, and support to a multidisciplinary team of Practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to people experiencing domestic and family violence, prioritising those with complex and intersecting needs.Oversee the program's referral intake process, maintain program waitlists, allocate work to Practitioners, and monitor timely completion of case plans and documentation.Support Practitioners in conducting risk assessments, case planning, and implementing risk mitigation strategies for clients, offering guidance and case consultations as needed.Build and maintain professional relationships with government and non-government agencies to promote integrated service delivery and collaborative practice.Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of DVCS processes to ensure that case management and outreach programs achieve contracted outputs.Prepare reports and contribute to program evaluations, including the preparation of tender documentation, as required.Participate in the On-call Team Leader (OCTL) consultation rotating roster, providing after-hours phone consults to staff when necessary.Engage in other tasks as required to support the team and the organisation's objectives.SELECTION CRITERIAAll applicants must meet and address the following Selection Criteria in writing:Minimum of two years of relevant experience supervising staff supporting people experiencing domestic and family violence, including those at high risk of serious harm.Demonstrated ability to prioritise competing tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Well-developed skills in working with and supporting a diverse, multidisciplinary team to achieve positive client outcomes.Demonstrated experience in writing and delivering comprehensive reports for funding agencies and governing bodies.Strong knowledge and experience in domestic and family violence risk assessment, risk management, crisis intervention, and referral work, including making sound judgements in crisis situations.Deep understanding of the drivers and impact of domestic and family violence, including gender-based violence.Demonstrated commitment to client safety, working in partnership with those subjected to violence and promoting accountability for people using violence.Proven experience in trauma-informed, client-centred responses for individuals, including children and young people impacted by domestic and family violence.Ability to work within a diverse team with a focus on professional and team development.Demonstrated commitment to the values of equity, inclusion, and diversity.Current Working with Vulnerable People Card and a valid driver's licence.MORE INFORMATIONAll applicants should address the selection criteria in full, to be considered for interview.
