Location to be negotiated. Preference for North or Northwest Period of Appointment Appointment to the role is on a Permanent Full time, flexible basis (73.5 hours per fortnight).
Duties Assist the Projects, Policy and Assessment Coordination Lead in providing early guidance to proponents on the Major Project process and REAP participation, including eligibility for accessing the coordination service. Maintain and assist communications with the proponent as part of the service commencement. This includes receiving proponent enquiries and directing them to relevant cross-agency team members as appropriate. In consultation with regulatory bodies, monitor the overall project schedule and key milestones including progress toward meeting timeframe targets and any potential for delays/requests for time extensions or any changes. Assist in the development and maintenance of case management and client relationship management systems, including contributing to the development, utilisation of project issue and risk registers and associated reporting requirements. Mapping and tracking of project timelines including assessments. Deliver the secretariat role for the REAP Meetings with participating proponent/s and cross/agency team (including other stakeholders relevant to the proposal). Facilitate proponent access to custodian agency/regulator for relevant and existing public general guidelines for early guidance. Contribute to continuous improvement and refinement of the case management approach. Desirable Requirements Degree in Project Management, or Major Project or Environmental Management related discipline, or relevant experience. A current drivers licence This position may be required to undertake intrastate travel.
