Cartage Coordinator

Our client provides international freight forwarding, customs clearance and transport services to a diverse client base.
Due to ongoing growth and success, an opportunity has arisen within their Melbourne branch for a suitably experienced Cartage Coordinator to join their team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, key areas of responsibility will include: Coordinate daily LCL, FCL and airfreight shipments Liaising with clients regarding their deliveries Organising timeslots Quote specialty projects and/or destinations Liaise with other freight forwarders and shipping lines regarding charges Entering invoices to allow the Accounts Team to make timely payments Check and approve cartage costs This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday with work from home flexibility Requires a committed, reliable individual who is proactive, organised, understands the importance of a good work ethic and can bring a professional, friendly and helpful manner to a fast paced environment.
To be considered for this position you must have previous Cartage experience gained specifically within International Freight Forwarding environment, with a minimum 1-2 years in a hands on Cartage role.
