Established in 1977, we are part of Australia's leading and largest flooring retailer, Carpet Court.

Specialising in Carpet, Hybrid, Timber, Laminate, Vinyl and Window Furnishings, we are located in North Geelong along the thriving Thompson Rd shopping strip.

We currently have an exciting position available for a full-time Sales Consultant in our Carpet and Flooring business!

About the role
We are looking to secure the services of an experienced and motivated salesperson for this full-time role.

Involves understanding, quantifying and offering viable solutions to all manner of our customer's flooring requirements.

Remuneration based on experience, hours and sales performance.

Skills required to be the successful applicant
To possess an understanding, positive and friendly customer service focused attitude.
To have excellent oral and written skills and solid basic maths skills.
To be able to measure offsite and draw scaled plans, sometimes outside of regular retail hours.
To be able to quantify from either the drawn plans or supplied builders plans in either lineal metres or m2, and then prepare quotations.
To be able to close the sale.
Drivers Licence, punctuality, well presented and good time management skills essential.
Work roster will include weekend work (either Saturday or Sunday) and some out of retail store hours work is occasionally required.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $69,999.00 per year
