Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Carpet Shop Assistant/Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be in our store guiding customers through their flooring selections and ensuring a positive shopping experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the right carpet or flooring solutions for their needs. Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations based on customer preferences and requirements. Handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system. Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing store environment, including product displays and inventory. Process and manage customer orders, including special orders and custom requests. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance. Requirements:
Previous retail experience, preferably in a flooring or home furnishings environment. Strong sales skills with a customer-focused approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
