Carpentry Apprentice

About the business I am a small team undertaking high end carpentry not volume build. Not specialising in one area of carpentry but all areas of carpentry and beyond. I have been in the industry for over 15 years with a massive range of skill that has taken me (outside of general domestic construction) between building feature timber trusses, medieval trebuchets, working on wooden boats and all the way to Antarctica and back in the carpentry role. I am looking for an understudy to assist me while learning the carpentry trade. You will learn a lot in this role. @theleatherwoodcraftsman is both my personal and work insta.
Locations Mostly in CliftonHill with an ongoing contract working on a Marina in Williamstown. Must be willing to travel mostly around the North. Living locally will be prefered
About the role At LWBC we are looking for a young and enthusiastic person with a willingness to learn. As a First year apprentice you will learn what it is like to work day to day on a construction site. Some of your roles will be: 
Measure and cutting timber
Site cleanliness & labouring tasks
Reading Basic Plans
Assisting qualified Carpenters
My general work ethos is Work hard Play Hard. I often take on special jobs out of the norm for Carpentry. Eg, Marina carpentry, stair carpentry, heavy timber framing and planing on building a medieval trebuchet in the next 12 months.

Punctual
Be able to take positive critisim
Willing to be on a broom and clean up after others.
