Carpenter'S Assistant - Commercial Fitouts

Seeking a motivated trade assistant to assist carpenters for a commercial building / shopfitting company.
Most of their work involves framing, joinery, and internal fitout work in Central Brisbane.This position will be long term for the right candidate.
It would be ideal if you had some experience in the industry and experience using power tools.
We will also consider your experience reading plans and cut / measure.Passion for the building and construction industry and a drive to learn and advance professionally a must.Duties:Work alongside experienced carpenters at job sitesAdhere to instructions and safety protocolsLearn and hone carpentry skills and techniques.Requirements:Open to learning and following directionStrong work ethic and attention to detailExperience on commercial sites would be a bonusExperience with power tools, and general carpentryReliable transportation and some personal tools required.Offer:On-the-job training and growth opportunities / possible apprenticeshipsPositive, supportive work environmentWeekly pay12-week trial period with potential for long-term stability
