The Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter - Site Foreman to lead high-end residential projects. This role combines hands-on carpentry work with site management responsibilities. You'll be overseeing all aspects of carpentry, ensuring that craftsmanship is at the highest level, while also managing daily site activities to ensure timely project delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills and a passion for building exceptional homes.
Key Responsibilities: Perform and supervise carpentry tasks such as framing, roofing, and installation of timber elements. Lead the installation of custom features, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Coordinate and manage tradespeople, with a focus on carpentry-related tasks. Oversee the assembly and installation of structures, cabinetry, and other carpentry-related elements. Ensure all carpentry work aligns with industry standards, design specifications, and client expectations. Maintain quality control for all carpentry aspects of the project. Create and manage project timelines, especially for carpentry milestones. Ensure WH&S compliance on all carpentry tasks, keeping safety a priority on site. Act as the key liaison between Site Managers, clients, and tradespeople, ensuring smooth project execution. Ideal Candidate: Certificate IV in Carpentry (or equivalent) and proven experience in luxury residential construction. Strong leadership, communication, and site management skills. Expertise in all aspects of carpentry, with a focus on quality and craftsmanship. Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, specifically for carpentry features.
