Carpenter

The right candidate should have experience and ability to provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Director, and the team as required. This is a general scope of duties for the position and duties may vary. The position can include (but is not limited to) any of the responsibilities listed below.Responsibilities:Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirementsTake measurements and calculate the size and amount of material neededCut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurementsBuild window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed itemsLay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatibleCarve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designatedInspect places and conduct repairs or maintenanceBuild scaffolding and other construction structuresSuccessful applicant must have:Relevant QualificationMinimum 2 Years of Experience as a CarpenterGood communication and technical skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company carFree drinksSalary packagingVisa sponsorshipSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplementary Pay:Christmas bonusOvertime payPerformance bonusExperience:Carpentry: 2 years (Preferred)Licence/Certification:White Card (Preferred)Work Safely at Heights (Preferred)Driver Licence (Preferred)Work Authorisation:Australia (Preferred)Work Location: In person
