The Role Reporting to the Supervisor – Building Services, your primary responsibility is to conduct maintenance activities associated with company owned housing and site buildings to ensure a safe and well-maintained area. This is a residential role located in Mount Isa, working Monday – Friday on a 48-hour week roster. There will, however, be an expectation of flexibility with rostered hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Effective delivery of planned and breakdown maintenance tasks.
High standard of carpentry skills and the execution of tasks to required industry standard.
Maintaining and security in relation to usage of company tools and equipment
You will have the following skillset and attributes:
A team player that can add value to the team covering a wide range of skills.
Suitable qualification in the Carpentry trade
Demonstrate a high level of communication skills.
Solid ability to plan and organise tasks and resources to meet deadlines.
A strong safety focus - promoting site safety standards.
