We are currently seeking a suitability qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our Engineering department on a Full Time basis.Reporting to the Engineering Managerand working in conjunction with other Trades and Maintenance staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking all the Resort's carpentry requirements including general repairs and new projects. The key duties and responsibilities of this position include: Repairs and preventative maintenance in all areas of carpentry New carpentry projects including major improvements Timber experience Assisting with general handyperson duties as required Complying with OHS policies and procedures The required skills and experience for this role include: Trade qualification in Carpentry Current manual driver's license The ability to multitask and communicate effectively at all levels Proven experience to work effectively without supervision A strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and practices Previous experience in a similar role within a Hotel or Resort environment is desirable What's on offer: $80,000 Salary + Superannuation Staff Subsidised Accommodation Discounts at resort restaurants and spa Relocation assistance offered for the right candidate Great working conditions Cable Beach Club Resort is one of Australia's most highly-awarded resort holiday destinations, offering superb career opportunities in the hospitality industry for staff that are committed to the pursuit of excellence.
