Job Description
To utilize education and experience in the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of the physical plant, structure, utility services, equipment, fixtures, and furnishings for the hotel facility and associated buildings.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES You are required to work 48 hours per week.You are required to take half an hour for lunch each day at the Staff canteen.You are required to take proper care of all materials and tools.You are required to keep your working environment clean and tidy, free from all potential hazards.Self-starter and proactive profile.Ensures the application and execution of the preventive maintenance programs.Maintains the cleanliness of the workplace and complies with both personal and environmental safety protocols.Should be able to manage stock levels.Should have proper control and monitoring of the tools, equipment, and materials to complete the job in a safe and efficient manner.Operate all types of woodworking equipment like table saw, radial saw, planer, jointer, drill, etc.Check and repair metal and timber windows, doors, and minor roof repairs.Construct framework into which concrete is poured.Examine the wood surface for defects, such as nicks, cracks, or blisters.Install door handles, locks, hardware, flooring underlay, insulating material, and other fixtures.Ability to carry out deck and blind/curtain repair and any furniture repair.You will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other related duties as assigned by management. Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery.Sound knowledge and skills in carpentry and woodworking.Knowledge in basic health and safety related to this field and you are required to abide by. Additional Information
