Reporting to the Operations Manager, the full-time position will be based in Alice Springs and involve working on projects that span across the Central and Barkly regions and remote communities.Work will need to be conducted within the framework of company WHS, safety and compliance policies and procedures, delivering quality workmanship across every project. REPORTING /WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:The position will report directly to the Operations Manager, and indirectly to the Managing Director. Working relationships will be required internally within the carpentry and construction, plumbing, and executive teams and externally with subcontractors, suppliers, clients and stakeholders of Harvey Developments.ROLE INVOLVES:Reading and interpreting technical drawingsSetting frames and levelsCutting, assembling, and nailing plywood to construct formworkForming of timber structures for the construction of bridges, retaining walls, and culvertsInstalling and removing concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, and barricades on construction sitesConstruction of other forms to container concrete for other applicationsCarrying out concreting works.PERFORMANCE MEASURES:Adhere to company workplace policies and procedures at all timesPerform all assigned tasks promptly, seeking clarification without hesitationAlways raise issues and/or delays with the Operations Manager or Managing Director promptlyRepresent yourself and the Company professionally at all times, including wearing the uniform correctly, presenting yourself in a respectful manner on site and in front of clients and stakeholders, and ensure work sites and vehicles are always kept in a safe and tidy manner.
