We are seeking a qualified and skilled Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both rough and finish carpentry, with a focus on quality, safety, and craftsmanship.
You will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing various wood and structural components in residential and commercial projects.
Qualifications & Experience: Hold a relevant AQF (or equivalent) Certificate III in Carpentry.
Have at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Key Responsibilities: ·       Understanding technical drawings and blueprints to determine dimensions, materials, and other specifications for construction projects.
·       Accurately measuring and cutting wood, plywood, drywall, and other materials according to specifications.
·       Constructing frameworks, walls, floors, roofs, stairs, and other structures for buildings.
·       Installing windows, doors, and other components as part of the building process.
·       Installing trim, moulding, cabinetry, and other fine details that enhance the aesthetic appearance of a building.
·       Sanding, staining, and painting wooden surfaces to ensure a polished finish.
·       Repairing or replacing damaged wood structures, furniture, or fixtures.
·       Performing maintenance on doors, windows, and other wooden parts of buildings.
