We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our growing team.
Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to construct and assemble formwork for shotcreting applications.
Measure, cut, and assemble timber and other materials for frameworks to support concrete application.
Ensure all structures meet required specifications and safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to align construction plans with shotcreting requirements, particularly for vertical and overhead applications.
Perform maintenance and repairs on existing frameworks and structures as required.
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to all workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols.
Qualifications and Skills: Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in a related field Strong knowledge of formwork systems and materials.
Ability to read and interpret detailed construction plans and specifications.
High level of attention to detail and craftsmanship in all tasks.
Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices.
Good physical fitness and stamina for manual labour and working at heights.
Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 - $95,000 p.a.
plus superannuation for a 40-hour work week.
