As part of our ongoing growth plan, we have an exciting leadership opportunity within the grain industry for a self-motivated, mechanically minded, safety orientated individual, as Complex Supervisor. This role involves mentoring and leading a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our grain storage and packing facilities. As Complex Supervisor, you will join our professional team of dedicated people who strive to meet our objectives for safety and reliability.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will: Run an efficient & hygienic grain complex, ensuring best practice. Manage Bunker storage, including building, breaking down and tarping of bunkers. Manage all aspects of Weigh Bridge & Containerising operations. Assist the General Manager of Complex and Transport in developing & implementing grain complex strategy plans. Ensure compliance with WH&S and relevant industry legislation. Train and develop your team in an operational setting. Plan, prepare and implement the movement, storage and handling of grain in the Complex. Operate machinery including augers, hoppers, loaders and tractors and undertake operational tasks with your team. Qualifications & Skills: Able to perform manual labour outdoors & lead your team by example. Solid problem-solving skills with good attention to detail, a strong work ethic and ability to follow process. Proven ability to train and develop staff in an operational setting. Tickets in loader, forklift, skid steer and Authorised Officer training - AO (Desirable but not essential). Australian Open Driver's License.
