Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of MANAGER-RISK AND COMPLIANCE .

Reports to: General Manager
Job Summary:
The Risk & Compliance Manager is responsible for oversight of the enterprise risk management function at 4Cs, through the establishment and implementation of risk and compliance management processes, systems and structures, ensuring they are in line with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Perform a leading role in periodic strategic planning and financial forecasting, to ensure that the business grows in a sustainable/controlled manner, and that risk management is integrated into the process.
Facilitate the establishment and review of the company's risk appetite to provide guidance on the amount of risk that can be taken in pursuit of its objectives.
Oversee risk management and mitigation projects.
Work closely with other senior executives to ensure the effective implementation of risk management plans & policies.
Monitor and analyze risk management data to provide relevant guidance.
Develop and implement risk and compliance policies and procedures.
Effectively manage reporting staff to ensure full engagement and productivity.
Develop and implement training and education programs for employees.
Maintain strong oversight of the risk management activities of the company, consistent with the established ERM program, by effectively identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring and reporting risks.
Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies and drive the required change.
Maintain strong oversight of the compliance management program of the company, ensuring that internal controls effectively prevent and detect violations of law, regulations, or company policies.
Lead the annual review of the compliance program and ensure the implementation of approved revisions or modifications, necessary to manage emerging risks and environmental changes.
Liaise with external auditors in planning, execution and remediation of Audits, Inspections and Reviews.
Interface with regulators/agencies regarding risk and compliance matters.
Prepare risk reports for external stakeholders, such as regulators and auditors.

Normal Hours of Work:
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Education and Experience:
Master's Degree in Banking, Finance or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years experience in a management role.
Risk & Compliance Management certification (e.g.
ACAMS, FRM, CRM).
Minimum 7 years' experience in the financial services environment with at least 2 in Risk Management/Compliance.
Salary:
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
