This is a full-time role to support Certis with Cargo Screening Operations across several sites.
The position requires the officer to perform Cargo Screening on freight by following the relevant SOPs and using the screening equipment provided.

Security License.Previous Cargo or passenger screening experience.Desirable qualifications and experiences may include:
Experience with X-ray and screening equipment.Ability to work unsupervised.What you will be doing: X-Ray Monitoring and Screening.Physical Searches and Inspections.Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) Examinations.Training staff.Completing admin duties related to the role of Cargo Examination Officer.Reporting and escalation of security and safety events and incidents.CUSTOMER SERVICE experience is a MUST! Certis will cover the cost of your training, including a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (AVI20118) and 40 hours On-the-Job Training. The Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) is a nationally recognized qualification and is a requirement for all Aviation Screening Officers and is completely FREE with our Registered Training Organization (RTO ID 45583).
Note that to progress into a permanent position you are required to successfully complete the Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) and, at the end of your On-the-Job Training, be deemed capable of making independent screening decisions.
