Your New Opportunity: Join us as a site-based Maintenance Planner , where you'll play a key role in maintaining the efficiency of machinery and equipment by planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities.
Your efforts will help minimize downtime, optimize resources, and enhance equipment reliability.
This FIFO role operates on an 8:6 day-shift-only roster from Perth.
With projects extending over 5 years, this position provides long-term stability and excellent opportunities for career development.
What You Bring to the Table: 3+ years ' experience working as a Mobile Maintenance Planner within the mining industry A current C or HR class driver's licence High degree of computer literacy including the use of Microsoft Excel and Maintenance specific Pronto, Microsoft Project A valid National Police Clearance (within 6 months) The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical , including Drug and Alcohol Screen Key Responsibilities: Developing Maintenance Schedules: Create detailed maintenance plans, including preventive and corrective tasks.
Coordinate schedules to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Work Order Management: Generate and prioritize work orders based on urgency and resource availability.
Assign tasks to maintenance teams and track their progress.
Resource Allocation: Ensure the availability of required materials, tools, and spare parts.
Allocate manpower effectively based on skills and task complexity.
Data Collection and Analysis: Monitor equipment performance data to identify patterns or potential issues.
Analyze maintenance trends to improve processes and reduce breakdowns.
Coordination and Communication: Act as a liaison between maintenance teams, production staff, and management.
Ensure clear communication about planned work, safety considerations, and potential impacts on operations.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and costs.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate maintenance strategies for efficiency and effectiveness.
Propose and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
