Carer

We are currently seeking an experienced aged care carer to join our wonderful team and work at our Lake Haven Village.
You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.

The Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution (known as RFBI) is a non-for profit (NFP) organisation that has been in operation for 144 years.
We currently operate 22 residential aged care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the bedsProviding basic clinical care including; wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred careWhat we look for: Certificate III in Aged CareEffective communication skills, both written and verbalPrevious experience in an aged care environmentAn enthusiastic and motivated approachCurrent First Aid CertificateCurrent flu and Covid vaccinationMust be eligible to work in Australia.What's on offer: Work for one of the best providers in the aged care sectorAttractive hourly ratesA friendly and supportive manager, culture & teamOpportunities for develop and advance your career
