The Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution (known as RFBI) is a non-for profit (NFP) organisation that has been in operation for 143 years. We currently operate 22 residential aged care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.
Position Information: We are currently seeking an experienced aged care carer to join our wonderful team and work at our RFBI Canberra Masonic Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds.Providing basic clinical care including wound dressing, assisting with medication delivery and recording basic clinical observations.Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.Entering reports and observations into our computer program - iCare.Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care.What we look for: Certificate III in Aged Care.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Previous experience in an aged care environment.An enthusiastic and motivated approach.Current First Aid Certificate.Current flu and Covid vaccination.Must be eligible to work in Australia.What's on offer: Work for one of the best providers in the aged care sector.Attractive hourly rates, conditions and salary sacrifice options.A friendly and supportive manager, culture & team.Opportunities for development and advancement in your career.
