The team delivers a new grant funded program that aims to improve the lives of people living with Dementia and their carer/s, by increasing early access to Respite and support services. The 3 day, 2 night retreats are held monthly for 6 people with a diagnosis of dementia and their carer/s. The Carer Education Facilitator is responsible for the delivery of carer education sessions including person-centred and peer learning. This role ensures continuity of support and contributes to creating a safe and warm environment for all participants.
